GREAT post! I too, have always wanted to volunteer to help others and have been able to get into it more in recent times- time is valuable but I would rather being doing something positive with my time than something that does not help anyone or anything at all. I want to make it a personal goal this year to make it a focus. Why are we here on earth if we cannot share with and help others, and spread joy and love?

Thank you very much for your insightful words. In the past I have volunteered only to find out that it wasn’t what I was hoping it would be or didn’t really seem to be making much of a difference. I usually ended up ending it. But…the best course is not to assume that all volunteer options will turn out the same. Better to chalk it up to experience and engage quickly with another volunteer endeavor. When we find the right one for us, it is exhilarating! Thanks, again. Be well. 🙂

I believe that volunteering benefits the person that volunteers as well as the recipient. Most of us live full lives and wonder how we can fit one more thing into our schedule. I have been there, but few things compare to the fulfillment that I get when I help others.

Thank you, Wyletter. In total agreement with you as well. Also, if people are willing to give, even just a little, there are always organizations that can find something that matches available time constraints. Thanks again. Be well. 🙂

When you volunteer to help out no matter what organization it is, if you are doing good, then you will be amazed how much good it does you back. Everytime I volunteer I always am blessed 10 fold.
