I have a question for you.
Would you donate a pair of jeans that you don’t/won’t/can’t wear anymore to someone you know who is desperately in need of a pair of jeans? Okay, so I already knew you would say yes. How about to someone you don’t know who desperately needs a pair of jeans?
If your answer is yes to this one, I have a suggestion. Instead of GYA today, how about GYJA today …that stands for Give Your Jeans Away today.
Watch this really short video to get the basics and learn how easy it is.
You don’t have to be a teen to be involved. But it would be great to get teens involved. You don’t have start a drive, but you could. All you HAVE to do is donate just one pair of jeans.
So, one last question. Will you donate at least one pair of jeans …soon …please?
Get all the details about how and where HERE from Do Something.org and Aeropostale
And, feel free to spread the word far and wide. I certainly don’t mind if you post any or all of this on your site. I don’t think Aeropostle or Do Something.org will mind either.
Thank you.
Having too much of anything is a common modern disease. Having it and not giving it to someone who *doesn’t* have enough, let alone too much, leads to all sorts of complications. Cheers to un-stuffing!
I find it simplifies things if I just keep a large box handy somewhere (in a closet space, in my case) and whenever I discover I’m not using something anymore, have outgrown my need or fondness for it, or have duplicates (books often fall into this category), said Stuff goes right into the box. When the box is full, off we go to any of a number of local charities that can use them. We get free space back, lighten our household burden, and–I hope–keep someone else from being in dire need of those things we’ve parted company with, a win all ’round.
Keep up the good work here, sir!

Thanks for posting this 🙂 I shared it on my Facebook and I’m talking to a group on campus about starting a drive soon. If they don’t want to, I’ll talk to residence life and start a drive on my own perhaps. Good information!

Pleasure. Thanks for stopping by, Ms. Happy Runner. Sadly I’m an unhappy runner right now. I AM NOT a fan of running in cold weather. Where I live we had a mild winter last year. Mother nature is making up for it this year. Can’t wait for spring! Be well. Happy running. ~Paul

Thanks, Paul. I am also an unhappy runner right now, more like a non-runner with a broken foot, so I “run” vicariously through others. 🙂 Happy looking forward to running again and wishing you warmer weather!

There is a homeless donation depot in most larger communities. Sometimes the location is not publicized enough.
