Caring For Our Beliefs

“We should care for our beliefs like beautiful old clocks. To keep them running smoothly and correctly we should disassemble them every now and then, clean them up, replace some parts, and put them back together.”  —Paul Mark Sutherland

    • Thank you. Regarding tips, we all have beliefs that are not true, but we continue to cling to them. So, the first step is admitting that we may be keepers of false beliefs. Once we get there it becomes a bit easier to continually challenge everything we believe instead of just accepting it as legitimate “just because” we have always done it that way. To challenge, we need merely to examine with an objective mind (easier said then done).
