Rest In Peace Posted on December 5, 2013 by Paul Mark Sutherland Thank you, Sir, for illuminating a way. For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others. —Nelson Mandela photo credit: unknown AdvertisementShare this:TweetShare on TumblrPocketMorePrintEmailLike this:Like Loading... He lives on!

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”~Nelson Mandela
Those who come before us illuminate, inspire and motivate. To attain freedom we must have courage, patience and perseverance. Nelson Mandela truly showed all of us what courage really is. May he rest in peace and soar with the angels. He leaves a legacy of freedom that has touched the hearts and lives of many. We can honor his legacy by casting off our own chains and respecting the freedoms of others.
Goodness we could use more people like him, in all walks of life, all cultures – may he rest in peace.
